One of my favorite images from the trip, the colours of the houses in Greenland, like lots of remote fishing villages were often bright colours. I was told that this was an old colonial tradition so a visitor to the town would automatically know which building was the hospital, which the school, which the fish processing facility etc. even when the streets were all deep under the snow.
I don't think it's the case anymore, but the bright buildings offer a glittering of colour to an otherwise muted landscape.
This house is actually a sports hut servicing a gravely football feild out of shot to the left. I loved how the iceberg loomed over the hut almost mimicking its form of shelter in a snowy-way.
