This was the most magical sight, as the golden light pushed through the ice crystals sent up by the glacial (Katabatic) winds. I shot this from a zodiac as our pilot dodged the mini icebergs, quite a surreal experience. I can still remember the clunk and scrape of the frozen blocks rebounding off the rubber walls of the boat. To give you a sense of scale, I would imagine these ice cliffs to be roughly 50meters high.
