Californian sun hits different - this was shot at a pool in a forest in Big Sur.

I love the way the sharp shadow 'reflects' on the grounds surface, brings into question what's solid or liquid.

Incidentally, I realised after naming this piece that it's more likely the number '8' signified the depth of the pool not the lane number.
