This is a special image, because it became the cover art for the book from the expedition.
What you're looking at was photographed just after sunset, as we sailed up the Sullorsuaq Strait. It's an image of the terminus of a glacier reaching the sea. The two lines of rocks deposited on either side are called moraines and form an important part of our understanding of geological formations.
Just prior to shooting this, I had to help Jarvis Cocker secure his time-lapse camera to a railing at the top of the ship - he was shivering in skinny jeans and up until that point had been trying to hand-hold it!
